"FRIENDS" SERVICES
EDUCATIONAL TRAINING:
"Friends" offers substance abuse prevention training, violence prevention training, social skills training and parenting skills training.
MENTORING:
"Friends" offers one-to-one mentoring, internships, Adopt-a-Student and shadowing.
JOB TRAINING:
"Friends" presently collaborates with professional Contractors,
Temporary Business Training Services and our Professional staff to offer training in construction and building, computer skills training and job preparedness training.
EMPLOYMENT:
"Friends" is currently partnering with job placement organizations and local and national businesses to offer summer jobs to program youth.
ALTERNATIVE RECREATION:
"Friends" offers monthly educational, cultural and fun field trips to local Museums, Amusement Parks, and other entertaining venues in our City and State. We also provide out of town trips for our high school aged participants.
